About Nandita

Nandita was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and currently resides in Cranford, New Jersey. She is currently in the process of getting her undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University. She does endocrine research on the effects of insulin on different adipokines at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Nandita also does research on the effects of appropriate balance on the base position of Indian Classical dancing at the University of California at Merced. Nandita has accepted abstracts from the American Diabetes Association and the International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition in both areas. Nandita has also been practicing Indian Classical dancing from the age of six. She currently does a solo performance annually, proceeds of which benefit the American Diabetes Association.
